Here are some of the pictures from last year's trip to Oklahoma for the Route 66 festival. All of these are from Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Sayre. Due to family illnesses and such, we didn't end up going to much of the festival, but we did see a lot of the Mother Road.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera along for most of my Route 66 adventures. Having lived alongside 66 for most of my life (in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and St. Louis), it didn't occur to me to take pictures until I moved away. Now I try to rectify that on visits home; I just wish I had thought of it while some of the old landmarks were still there. I'll be adding to this page.
