Actually, this is a very comprehensive history of the pinups with profiles of pinup artists. It's just that most of the examples seem to involve western wear.

On my honor, I will try...
An interesting article about the differences between today's Brownie uniforms and yesteryear's: A Mother in Touch With Her Inner Elf.
I wouldn't miss the beanie, but the sock flashes are another story.
I think what I found most interesting about this is that vintage uniforms are still considered to be official uniforms. The thing is, I can almost guarantee that while mothers would find it lots of fun to dress their poor Brownies up in vintage GS gear, the girls would probably be mortified.
