As seen on TV
Ah, Halloween. Earlier this evening I was watching The Addams Family while waiting for trick or treaters... which reminded me of 6th grade. Halloween, 1977 was the last time I went trick-or-treating, and, already thinking ahead to the day I would be a library cataloger, I spent the next several days after school arranging my candy in categories in order of preference while watching endless reruns of The Little Rascals, The Partridge Family, The Addams Family, and Happy Days. Every day I would eat the most desirable candy first while watching old TV, and every few commercial breaks I'd get to see the ads for K-Tel albums. That year I got "Music Machine" for Christmas, and just thinking about it makes me start humming "I Just Want to Be Your Everything." So go visit, find your favorite, leave a comment if you find it.
Thanks to James Lileks for pointing this one out.
